As I scanned clothing websites for fall trends, I saw a lot of leather! Leather dresses, skirts, pants, shorts, vests, jackets..everythingggg! But, the way to wear it this fall season, is to tone it down to make it appear feminine. “Tough girl meets Sweet girl.” For instance, pair a leather pair of shorts with a frilly, chiffon top tucked in. This gives an innocent girl look an edge. It screams, “I’m a sweetheart but don’t mess with me!” Check out some looks and pieces below.

Tomorrow is Michael Jackson’s birthday. REST IN PEACE to the absolute BEST who ever did it in music. THE BEST ARTIST TO EVER LIVE. And I’m not saying that as an opinion, I’m saying it as a fact, and I’m sure almost no one will disagree.
And a new tragedy that occurred today in New York. REST IN PEACE DJ AM! I’ve seen you spin in Atlantic City and you were awesome!
Two awesome artists in different ways. I’m so saddened of what 2009 has become. SO many celebrities have died this year. SO MANY. Huge celebrities. Hell, it doesn’t matter if they were huge or not. They were people. Talented people.
Both of these deaths seem to have occurred because of drugs. Therefore, I believe that both deaths could have been prevented. I don’t know all the facts, but I do know that if drugs are involved, you’re asking for it.
I hope that everyone learns from these tragedies. Drugs are bad. DUH! They kill you. Either slowly or quickly. You don’t know how your body will react. Take care of the healthy bodies God has given you please, and appreciate your life. DJ AM was lucky to survive a plane crash along with Travis Barker last year. They were given a second chance. And now he is gone over this. Over what appears to be, drugs. If you need help, seek it. Don’t turn to drugs. You were all put on this earth for a reason and deserve to live and enjoy your life. Be smart and take care of yourselves.

Anna Paquin of HBO’s sexy vampire series, (and my all-time fave show), TRUE BLOOD, is featured on the cover of NYLON Magazine. I must say I love her with blonde hair and almost can’t see her as a brunette anymore. Check out her amazing photos taken for NYLON below. They came out real nice.

I never knew boys could do so much with such short hair. But they can! And the sexy Robert Pattinson of “Twighlight” gives us many examples. I love the length of his hair, it’s just long enough to create many different, messy, but sexy looks, as well as tamed styles. Check it out.

I saw this trend in Cosmopolitan as well as on the Fall runways. I can understand stockings of course, with open heels for the Fall, but socks? High socks? I’m not so sure….
Eeek. If I tried this trend out and wore it in public, I’d get made fun of. The runway is one thing.

Megan keeps it edgy with the short jacket and black jeans but still brings out her feminine side with the printed, frilly dress. Try this look yourself for a night out on the town. It’s very “boy meets girl.”
Check out Britney in a sexy little black dress at the Teen Choice Awards 2009 along with bright blonde locks. She looks fantastic, so glad to see her doing well. I love the dress, I rather see it without that strap though, it kind of makes it look like a purse is slung over her shoulder. I like how the band of fabric wraps around the dress but not onto her shoulder. What do you think?
