Men’s Spring Trend Report

I want to feature men’s style on my site too..there’s a link to mens fashion under Categories so click that any time you want to view all the posts about strictly menswear. I did some research and here’s a few things I’ve come up with that are in for men this Spring and Summer. 

PLAID

Plaid is in this season whether it be on tops or bottoms. Brighter, more vibrant colored plaids are popping up everywhere. I remember seeing lots of young guys wearing plaid shorts last year. I guess they are still in..which is cool because I’ve always thought they were hot. Check these styles out.

 

LIGHT JACKETS

Lightweight, Spring jackets are in this season from track jackets to denim, any style or shade…neutral to colorful. I even saw some stylish raincoats and windbreakers out there.

CUT OFFS

There were lots of cut off shirts on the runway. I think showing off the biceps/arms are hot, but please be careful with this one. Some guys tend to look very metro, especially if the have huge arms and the shirt is super tight. Please don’t wear them super tight! 

Ok so his arms are kinda big, but I like how he balances the shirt out with pants instead of shorts, a “spring scarf” and it’s not super tight on his abs. It looks pulled together and tailored. Not so much juice head. 

There were lots of spring scarves on the runway, especially in the Dolce & Gabbana collection. I’m not sure about this trend. It’s alright, maybe for stylish business men but I can’t see many guys I know wearing it. Oh well, they’re in style if you’re interested. 

SHORT SHORTS

I also saw lots and lots of short shorts on the runway for men! I even saw them on some men’s clothing websites. I’m not into this one at all. I don’t think men should be wearing short shorts! That’s for the ladies! I mean these models do have gorgeous legs for men but I still can’t see many regular dudes rockin shorts this short. Or lookin good in them. I’ll be keeping a look out though. 

COLOR COLOR COLOR

Just like for the ladies, it’s all about color for men too. Vibrant hues and prints for tops, jackets, bottoms, sneakers. I saw some colored denim for men too so keep an eye out if you’re into that. I also saw a lot of hot pink on the runway for men, not sure about that but if you’re into it, go for it. I’ve seen guys in pale pink, not sure about hot pink though.
