For a warm weather wedding, you can get away with a short dress as long as it’s a tasteful cocktail dress and not a club/party dress. Asymmetrical dresses are great for weddings and maxi dresses are elegant as well. You can do a summery floral print dress but make sure it’s a maxi since floor length or calf length appears more formal. Sheer, delicate fabrics are great for summer weddings as well. They’re airy for the warm weather, yet very classy. Check out some of these great dresses I found!
From the messy bed-head look to mismatched prints and colors, fashion has gone from clean cut and classic to very messy. Are we running out of ideas? These looks can be pulled off by the supermodels on the runway because it’s all about a show. But would you really go out of the house with a braid that looks like you slept on it?
How about this new sloppy/splattered nail look (see below)? You can’t wear that to the office, that’s for sure. Most of us have to go to work everyday and have limited fashion choices. The most we can do is add some trendy accessories to our looks while keeping it professional. That gives me an idea for another blog post. Stay tuned!
So, I’ve gathered some of the sloppiest trends seen on the runway. Tell me if you would wear any of these trends, or have tried it, and what was the feedback?

Not a fan. It looks like blood and it may be trendy, but it’s not suitable for work unless you work for a fashion magazine maybe. Maybe in black and white.
The Undone braid
The innocent girl braid look is trending right now and I rock ‘em too but not as wild as this. These models have tons of volume, with frizzy, teased hair sticking out of at the top of the head, with a loose, messy braid, barely even tied or finished. What do you think? Would you try this look or go for a more tamed version?
Socks with Heels

Now, you know wearing socks with sandals is a big no-no, so why is it okay to wear slouchy, high socks with dressy shoes? I don’t get it, do you?
The “I Got Dressed in the Dark” Look
Yes, mismatching prints and colors can work when in the same color family, but you have to be careful or else it looks just a bit too much like these models do here. Would you be brave enough to try this look?
Maxi dresses are great because they can be dressed up or down. Bright colored solids as well as asymmetrical cuts where the back is longer than the front, are trending right now. Solids can be dressed up with great chunky jewelry and pretty sandals and prints make a statement themselves!
Who says you can’t look stylish when you’re working out at the gym? I know it’s not a place to make a fashion statement but no one wants to see the same old yellow stained tees and ripped shirts anymore. Check out some cool sweat shorts, tops and pants I found on the web.
Eco-friendly fashion kills two birds with one stone. One, you’re helping to save the planet. Two, you’re staying trendy! You can’t lose. High-waisted cut-off shorts reminiscent of what our moms used to wear in the 80′s, are coming back and Miley Cyrus is one of the many celebs rockin’ the mom jeans look in shorts form. Be careful of this look though because it can be unflattering and look like you have a pouch! Avoid this mishap by wearing a loose top like Miley or tucking in a tight tank. This look can be very rocker hot if worn right. Follow my example below!
